Applications will be responsible for developing and implementing
innovative and scalable technological solutions. This role requires
a blend of strategic insight, operational excellence, and hands-on
implementation. The Director will oversee the programming and
configuration functions to support the implementation of the
organization's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications.
They will provide strategic directions to guide the planning and
deployment of new ERP applications or updates, ensuring
reliability, security, and functionality. Acting as the primary
resource for departmental objectives and complex ERP programming
and configuration inquiries, the Director will design policies and
procedures to optimize ERP system performance and support business
goals. Furthermore, the Director will coordinate with senior
management and business leaders to understand current and future
business needs, thereby shaping the business strategy effectively.
This pivotal role is essential for defining our technological
vision and ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our overarching
business objectives.Responsibilities
- Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and upgrade of key
corporate business applications, ensuring alignment with overall
business objectives.
- Manage relationships with software vendors and key stakeholders
across departments to support, troubleshoot, and enhance
applications.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with software
vendors.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of new
applications and major updates, coordinating with cross-functional
teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensure seamless integration of applications within the
company's tech ecosystem, optimizing workflows and data
accessibility.
- Cultivate a data-driven culture within the Business
Applications and IT teams by monitoring and demonstrating the
effectiveness of initiatives, delivering value, and ensuring on
track to deliver ROI.
- Oversee the Business Applications and IT teams to ensure high
performance, reliability, scalability, and security of all systems
and applications.
- Drive the transformation of technology architecture to support
company goals, building scalable platform solutions and customizing
best-in-class software products, keeping abreast of industry
trends.
- Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members
and patients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Information
Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree
is a plus.
- 7+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven
track record in managing information systems for a large
organization.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability
to motivate and inspire a diverse, multinational team.
- Proficient in business applications software across various
domains, including CRM, marketing automation, IT service management
(ITSM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), human resource
information systems (HRIS), and more.
- Prior experience with Sage and Workday is crucial for this
role.
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, data governance, and
digital transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and promote
collaboration across departments.
- Possesses a sense of urgency in execution while maintaining
strategic focus. Demonstrates the business discipline needed to
facilitate swift, fact-based decisions and ensures accountability
for execution.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to present complex information clearly and influence key
stakeholders.
- Expert knowledge of business requirements, effectively
articulating the necessary actions for solutions and the expected
outcomes.
- Assists in the customer decision-making process and develops
functional design documents to guide the development process for
business applications.
- Enjoys tackling challenging, multifaceted initiatives and
coordinating with stakeholders and team members to achieve
high-quality, timely project delivery. Promotes a culture of data
literacy and empowers teams to leverage data as a strategic
asset.
- Ability to mentor and develop talent, providing opportunities
for skill growth and career advancement.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional
