Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant - PPV at OneHome
summary:
The Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant supports the
Occupational Therapist by executing client care activities and
administering treatment plans as directed. Responsibilities include
teaching daily living activities, training in adaptive equipment
use, and documenting patient responses under supervision. This role
requires a valid OTA license, CPR certification, and experience
supporting individuals with disabilities.

-The Occupational Therapy Assistant assists the Occupational
Therapist with client related activities and performs delegated
procedures commensurate with education and training. All services
are initiated and provided under the direction of plan of treatment
established by a physician. Evaluations are performed by peers.
- Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) job duties and
responsibilities are to participate as a team member who
contributes to total client care under the direction and
supervision of a Licensed Occupational Therapist. Administer
treatment program in accordance with the Plan of Care. Teach
activities of daily living. Provide training in proper use of
prosthetic devices and adaptive equipment. Observe, records and
reports to supervisor conditions, reactions and responses related
to assigned duties. Observes and reports to Licensed Occupational
therapist changes in the client's condition and level of function,
results of testing and responses to therapeutic program. Provides
appropriate documentation of services in keeping with Agency
policies and procedures. Respects patients' rights, cultural
beliefs. Maintains strictest confidentiality of all patient/Agency
information. Adheres to all Agency policies and procedures
including HIPAA. Accepts only those assignments for which

Qualifications
- OTA licensed in the State of Florida
- CPR certification
- OSHA Certificate
- HIV/AIDS Certificate
- HIPAA Certificate
- Alzheimer's Certificate
- Medical Errors Certificate
- Domestic Violence Certificate
- Minimum 1+ year(s) professional or personal experience
supporting individuals with disabilities, mental illnesses, or
challenging behaviors.
- This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's
Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you
will be required to be screened for TB.
- Must have a valid in-state driver's license, provide current
registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more
than 2 points within the last 3 years.
- This role is part of Humana's Driver safety program and
therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's
license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at
least 100,000/300,000/100,000 limits. ?Scheduled Weekly Hours1Pay
RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of
starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at
the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on
geographic location and individual pay will vary based on
demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education,
certifications, etc. -$58,400 - $80,000 per year -Description of
