Job Description:
A company is looking for a fully remote Medical Coder with a CCS
certification.
Key Responsibilities
Assigns ICD-10-CM-PCS and/or CPT-4 diagnostic and procedure codes
to patient charts accurately
Abstracts selected data items and enters them in 3M encoder/Epic
software
Maintains a log of work performed and completes other assigned
duties as directed by management
Required Qualifications
Must have a CCS certification
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical coding
Ability to apply local, state, and federal coding guidelines
Experience with UHDDS data abstraction
Proficient in using 3M encoder/Epic software
