TALENT BUSINESS PARTNERJob SummaryPartner with your assigned
business unit managers to understand, anticipate, and meet the
needs of the respective business units and deliver and retain the
best talent in the organization.Responsible for all aspects of
recruiting and talent retention; support staffing analysis and
capacity planning, developing recruiting plans, sourcing
strategies, and provide support and guidance to business heads on
reorganizations and retention efforts. This position is also
responsible for coordinating personnel reclassification, transfers,
and other personnel actions.Also responsible for supporting the
business on general talent management, compensation and benefits
consults, employee relations, and engagement & recognition. Act as
a liaison between the corresponding business units and HR
department services.Performs all duties within the legal labor
framework related to local and federal laws, corporate policies and
procedures. Prepares a variety of reports including budget,
vacancies and personnel movement. Support in the implementation of
key projects to contribute to HR strategy.Essential
Responsibilities
- Works collaboratively with organization leaders to identify
needs, understand current and future workforce needs and create
plans (reorganizations, headcount and capacity planning) that
minimize having talent gaps.
- Plan, develop, organizes, and execute recruitment processes and
programs, ensuring all recruiting activities align with company
policies, initiatives, and following legal labor framework.
- Manage the applicant tracking system, assuring assigned
requisitions are timely reviewed and providing regular feedback to
candidates and the hiring team.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting
colleges, employment agencies, job boards, media, internet sites,
cold calling, actively participation in job fairs, professional
organizations sites, and employment forums promoting the Bank's
employer brand, opportunities, and benefits.
- Builds strategic partnerships with senior leadership team and
other business stakeholders and provides a range of consultation
services on HR matters including engagement, retention, talent
management processes, compensation and benefits.
- Identifies needs, recommends actions, and participate in the
implementation of talent management practices to promote employee
engagement, including recognition program.
- Coordinates, monitors and participates in the on-boarding
process, including the new hire package and paperwork for new
employees, ensure new employee's files are complete and orientation
process.
- Compiles, monitors and tracks all recruitment statistics and
provides regular reports to Business Groups on their recruitment
and selection activity, headcount, vacancies and turnover to ensure
compliance with recruitment SLA.
- Recommend and manage projects to provide outstanding candidate
experience as well as initiatives to reduce costs in the
department.
- Supports business heads with the coordination of paperwork to
create and update job descriptions, develop analysis for salary
recommendations or job offers, coordinates with Compensation the
compensation analysis and participates on discussions until the
position is finally assigned to the corresponding salary band.
- Provides effective and personalized guidance to leaders to
ensure consistent application of HR practices across the Bank.
- Maintains updated organizational charts, headcount and vacancy
reports of business units under his/her responsibility.
- Supports in the development and update of relevant policies and
procedures within the Recruitment and Selection function.
- Administers the corporate attire of the Business Units,
according to the established guidelines and budget, ensuring
adequate inventory levels to supply employees' needs.
- Participates in the implementation of internal surveys,
assessment process and activities to enhance the performance,
effectiveness, engagement, and team dynamics among
departments.
- Performs any other duties assigned by HR Management.
- Process salary information and conduct salary market research
surveys.
- Prepare, manage, and control the budget of the functions under
his/her charge.Additional Responsibilities
- Provides information to management in topics such as
engagement, team building, change management and other
organizational development services and assure initiatives are in
alignment with the organization's strategic and business
plans.
- Participates in career and job fairs, universities info
sessions. Partner and build relations with external agents such as
universities, employment agencies and job boards as part of the
recruitment strategy.
- Participates in evaluation processes and Self-Assessment to
recommend, design and/or support implementation of initiatives that
enhance Talent Management Cycle: Planning, Attract and hire,
Retention Performance Management and Development.
- Contributes towards the achievement of the Human Resources
Working Plan, the HR Scorecard and the Corporate Human Resources
Strategy.
- Supports and participates in the execution of Talent Management
Projects.
- Performs other related job duties as required.

Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations,
Industrial Psychology or Business Administration.
- Master degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in recruitment is required.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) required.
- Experience in another area other than recruitment is highly
preferred.
- SHRM Certified preferred.
- Required experience working with market salary companies and
performing salary benchmarking.
- Required experience preparing and monitoring budget and
justifying variances.
- Required experience working with Ms Excel reports for
department headcounts, vacancies, turnover, etc.
