Millwork Estimator (Onsite, Miami, FL)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented -Millwork -Estimator -to analyze project specifications, prepare accurate cost estimates, and support business development efforts. This role involves working closely with general contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure competitive pricing and successful project bids.

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Review architectural plans and blueprints to determine material, labor, and cost estimates for millwork.
  
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns for multi-family, high-end residential, and commercial projects.
  
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor bids to ensure competitive pricing.
  
• Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and clients to refine estimates and explore value-engineering options.
  
• Assist in bid proposals, RFP responses, and contract negotiations.
  
• Maintain cost databases, track historical pricing, and stay updated on industry trends.
  
• Work with sales and business development teams to identify new opportunities.
  
• Ensure all estimates align with company standards and project requirements.
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 3+ years of estimating experience in millwork -for multi-family, luxury residential, or commercial projects.
    
  • Strong knowledge of materials, labor costs, and construction methods for millwork.
    
  • Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, OST).
    
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
    
  • Experience working with general contractors, architects, and developers.
    
    
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required).
      
    • Experience estimating subcontractor work for mid-to-large-scale construction projects.
