Job descriptionThis position requires a strong commitment to supporting students with an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) to help them reach their full potential. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with exceptional education students, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create a positive learning environment.Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and minimize challenging behaviors.
• Collaborate with teachers and other specialists to read, understand and implement Individualized Education Plan (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide differentiated instruction to address diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
• Utilize creative teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture.Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., education, psychology, behavioral health)
• Valid Teaching certification with ESE endorsement.
• Strong understanding of special education laws and regulations.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in lesson planning and curriculum development is preferred.
• Must have empathy and patience in working with students with diverse needs.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Ability to utilize high and low tech to support student learning and engagement.Job Types: Full-Time, 12-Month ContractSalary: $44,000.00 per yearBenefits:
