Job Description:
The Applications Specialist administers the Siebel application,
understanding process flows, application rules, and database
structure. Responsibilities include identifying and creating cases
for enhancements or defects, communicating requirements to
programmers, writing test scripts, conducting UAT testing, and
participating in deployments.Essential Functions:
- Efficiently monitors and responds to the Siebel Support inbox.
Identifies, documents, and resolves technical issues, including
complex phone connectivity problems. Conducts investigations,
manages CRM process flows, data conversion, and technical
inquiries.
- Supports User Acceptance Testing for monthly deployments by
testing defects and enhancements and promoting cases to the
production environment.
- Oversees administrative tasks for Contact Center database
applications, including Siebel, Computer Telephony Integration
(CTI), Eloqua, Webex Engage, Oracle Right Now, and Carnival Dash.
Supports Siebel application by executing database transfers,
initiating training transfers, and decommissioning database access
upon separation or promotion.
- Supports Siebel training initiatives and presentations as
needed.Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in information technology or a related field
required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in application process flows
or a similar position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint,
Outlook, Teams) and other relevant technologies essential for this
role.
- Experience with SQL, SAS, Siebel CRM.Knowledge, Skills &
Abilities:
- Industry Knowledge: Basic knowledge and understanding of the
fundamental concepts, processes, trends, and terminology related to
database analysis.

troubleshooting, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making
skills.

engaging with stakeholders and explaining concepts to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders.

able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer
for extended periods of time.Travel: 0-25% of shipboard and
shoreside travel.Work Conditions: Work primarily in a
climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard
potential.This position is classified as "remote." As a remote
role, it allows employees to work full-time from their home. It may
also require regular travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL
for in-office collaboration. Sourcing of candidates is primarily
done in Carnival's remote hubs of Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Houston,
and Dallas. If the search is extended past those areas, candidates
must be located in one of the following U.S. states: FL, GA, TX,
