As a Horse Racing/Competition Specialist at Elena Racing INC, you'll play a vital role in the success and wellbeing of our equine athletes. From providing top-notch care and nutrition to developing tailored training programs and preparing for competitive events, you'll be at the forefront of our mission to achieve excellence in horse racing. Key Responsibilities: --- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs designed to maximize each horse's potential and prepare them for success in competition. --- Evaluate horses' performance and progress through regular training sessions and competitions, adjusting training strategies as needed to optimize results. --- Monitor and manage horses' nutrition and dietary requirements, collaborating with veterinarians and nutritionists to ensure they receive the best possible care. --- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized training environment, adhering to industry standards and best practices for equine care and facility management. --- Work closely with our team of riders, trainers, and support staff to coordinate training schedules, track progress, and prepare for upcoming competitions. Qualifications: --- Extensive experience in horse care, training, and competition, with a proven track record of success in developing and nurturing top-level equine talent. --- Deep knowledge of equine physiology, behavior, and performance optimization, coupled with a genuine passion for the welfare and wellbeing of horses. --- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and provide guidance and support to colleagues at all levels. --- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail, with a commitment to excellence in every aspect of equine care and training. --- Flexibility to work a schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, in order to accommodate the needs of our equine athletes and the demands of the racing calendar.
