  • Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout.
  • Inspecting construction work.
  • Documenting field tests.
  • Responsible for coordinating inspections.
  • Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.Who You AreRequired Qualifications
    • High school diploma.
    • 3+ years of construction inspection experience (typically required).
    • Familiarity with CEI inspection standards and procedures.
    • Experience with roadway, bridge, or infrastructure construction is highly valued.
    • Experience in public works projects (DOT projects, municipal infrastructure).
    • Knowledge of construction methods and materials (concrete, asphalt, structural steel, etc.).
    • Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
    • Proficiency with inspection software (such as SiteManager, FieldManager, or similar).
    • Familiarity with surveying and materials testing equipment.
    • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, detailed records.
    • Strong communication skills to interact with contractors, engineers, and project managers.
    • Problem-solving abilities to resolve on-site construction issues.
    • Time management to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
    • Driver's license.
