Job Description:

The Comprehensive Aids Program has an exciting opportunity for a (part-time/temp) Data Analyst 1 position. The incumbent performs basic data analysis using various techniques and assists with maintaining databases and dashboards to support the department's planning needs, goals, and objectives. The Data Analyst 1 (N) (A) position leads projects and serves as a liaison to various internal units, teams, committees, and external vendors.CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

• Performs basic data analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, data mining.
• Analyzes data to ensure accuracy and reports any issues to management.
• Researches best practices and supports developing the solutions and recommendations for the current business operations.
• Generates reports and analyzes data for internal planning processes and reporting purposes.
• Maintains databases and dashboards to support the department's planning needs, goals, and objectives.
• Provides basic business data interpretation, such as identifying trends or patterns of data sets.
• Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities as necessary.CORE QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experienceDEPARTMENT ADDENDUMDepartment Specific Functions
• Data Analysis for Ryan White Part A grant
• Gather client data for RW report from PROVIDE Enterprise
• Coordinate with community providers regarding missing data
• Collaborate with RW Part C regarding required data
• Complete tasks related to errors in submission of data to Miami Dade
• Submit data report on time per grant requirementsAny appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certification may be considered.
