Job Description:
This position is responsible for supporting fleet operational
energy efficiency initiatives, tracking vessel operational fuel
efficiency, including voyage-, hull-, technical efficiency. The
role involves proactively identifying opportunities to optimize
fuel consumption and reduce costs throughout the fleet.
Additionally, the position is responsible for developing weekly and
monthly energy performance reports, tracking action items, and
maintaining KPI dashboards to ensure continuous
improvement.Essential Functions:
- Responsible for compilation, preparation, and development of
vessel fuel & energy performance reports for the fleet. Attend
monthly fuel & energy performance meetings with ships and technical
operations.
- Maintain and update database for fuel & energy action items and
follow ups with relevant stakeholders to drive necessary actions
and track progress.
- Responsible for conducting weekly reviews of voyage efficiency,
analyzing key metrics and performance indicators. Follow up with
relevant stakeholders to implement necessary improvements and
ensure continuous optimization.
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of underwater hull
maintenance services in accordance with company guidelines,
coordinating with vendors and shipboard teams to ensure optimal
hull performance and seamless operations.
- Responsible for conducting comprehensive hull performance
analytics, including periodic baseline updates, paint performance
comparisons, and data-driven support for hull maintenance
decisions. Prepare weekly fuel and energy performance reports,
analyze data trends, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Perform periodic and ad hoc analyses of vessel fuel consumption,
energy efficiency, KPIs, and trends to enhance vessel operations
efficiency.
- Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering, Naval Architecture, Marine
Engineering. 5+ years of experience in energy management, fuel &
energy consumption and/or marine operations. Technical shipboard
operational experience (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of marine fuels & bunkering operations,
shipboard operations, energy efficiency & numerical modelling.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting and forecasting techniques.
Advanced proficiency in Excel. Ability to handle large quantities
of data.
- Coding background in Python or any other language is a
plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.Knowledge, Skills

"in-office." As an in-office role, it requires employees to work
from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Tuesday through
Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Mondays
and Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate
to) the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area.Offers to selected candidates
