  • Tasks and responsibilities, you will:
  • • • Assess, plan and evaluate patient care needs.
      • Prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
      • Assist physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
      • Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds and monitor vital signs.
      • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition, as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation system.
      • Provide age and culturally appropriate care.
      • Position Qualifications:
      • FL RN Licensure or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
      • Current certifications: BLS & ACLS (AHA)
      • Basic EKG course required/certification required or successful completion of an arrhythmia examination with a score of 85% or greater within 30 days of hire. 12 Lead Course preferred
      • Intra Aortic Balloon Course mandatory or competed within two months of hire
      • In lieu of IAB course, one year documented experience with IABC is required
      • CCRN Certification preferred by not mandatory.
      • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills
      • Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environmentHCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County.
