TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Palm Beach West, Florida, 33418 Pay Information $2,307 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 8 Weeks Shift: Weekend Nights; Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience in a hospital setting; LTAC experience preferred License: Florida or multi-state RN license required Certifications: ACLS & BLS certifications required (must be through the American Heart Association) Must-Have: Experience in critical care, ability to assess patient conditions, and collaborate with the critical care team Job Description: - Assess patient conditions and plan and implement patient care plans - Treat wounds and provide advanced life support - Assist physicians in performing procedures - Observe and record patient vital signs - Ensure ventilators, monitors, and other medical equipment function properly; adjust ventilator/IABP - Administer intravenous fluids and medications - Perform suctioning - Collaborate with fellow members of the critical care team - Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols for treatment - Act as patient advocate - Provide education and support to patient families - Care for pre- and post-operative patients - Some may serve as case managers, policy makers, or perform administrative duties 27279833EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Some travel nursing agencies provide opportunities for continuing education, allowing you to expand your knowledge base and stay updated on the latest advancements in healthcare.
