Senior Physicist - Advanced Proton RadiationLocation: Miami, FLType of Work: In OfficeSchedule: Full-Time - Monday - Friday - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMType of Contract: PermanentPay Rate: $181,997 - $236,596 per year (based on experience)Description:We're seeking a Senior Physicist - Advanced Proton Radiation to play a pivotal role in a progressive Radiation Oncology team. This role focuses on the safe, precise, and optimized delivery of proton radiation therapy, combining clinical practice with research and education.Working under the direction of the Medical Physics Director, you will contribute to treatment planning, dosimetry, quality assurance, equipment calibration, and radiation safety. Your work will directly impact patient outcomes while supporting innovation and compliance in a high-acuity environment.Responsibilities and Duties:Design and optimize proton therapy treatment plans across diverse clinical cases.Oversee precise delivery of proton radiation therapy, ensuring clinical accuracy.Lead quality assurance (QA) processes for radiation oncology equipment.Maintain strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and radiation safety standards.Support ongoing physics services including equipment calibration and dosimetry.Guide equipment selection, testing, and integration.Oversee radiation protection programs for patients and staff.Contribute to clinical research, protocol development, and educational efforts.Maintain board certification and stay current through continuing education.Requirements:Education:Master's degree in Medical Physics - RequiredPhD in Physics or related field - PreferredCertification & Licensure:Board certification by ABR or BMP - RequiredFlorida Therapeutic Radiological Physicist (TRP) License - RequiredExperience:Minimum 5 years in a multi-modality radiation physics programMinimum 3 years in proton therapy - RequiredSkills:In-depth knowledge of proton therapy planning, QA, and deliveryProficiency with medical imaging software and radiation oncology platformsStrong collaboration, leadership, and communication skillsExpertise in regulatory compliance and safety standardsttg Talent Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer and recruiting agency.
