Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager of Payroll Tax to oversee
payroll tax compliance and manage the Payroll Tax team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide functional consulting on payroll tax regulations and
processes
Establish and monitor processes for payroll tax data quality and
accuracy
Manage interactions with third-party vendors for year-end payroll
processes and tax withholdings
Required Qualifications
5+ years of functional Payroll and multi-state Payroll tax
experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Solid knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting
regulations affecting payroll tax functions
Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures
Understanding of multi-state taxation, including nonresident
taxation requirements
