Electrical Engineer - REMOTE OPTIONALWhat are we looking for?The Electrical Engineer/ Quality Manager is responsible for performing quality compliance evaluations, on and off site, per ISO standards.Shift/Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm daily with occasional overtime hoursSalary & Benefits InformationIn addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.What you'll do:

• Under the guidance of the operations manager, conduct on and off-site evaluation of products to determine compliance with applicable standard(s).
• Read and determine applicability of international and applicable technical regulations and standards.
• Evaluate compliance of products according to technical regulation of client government.
• Complete preliminary design reviews (PDR) both on and off site.
• Compile evaluation information during compliance assessment.
• Communicate evaluation review to client, sales personnel, and management throughout evaluation. Provide on-going support to clients as needed.
• Perform other work as required.
• Perform factory audits according to GTS standard requirements.
• Maintain quality records according to ISO9001, ISO17020, and ISO17065.Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Quality assurance experience preferred.
  • Some knowledge of ISO quality management systems.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 25%.Preferred Requirements and Qualifications:
