Job Description:
A company is looking for a Substation Physical Engineer to
support the design and development of transmission and distribution
substations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop substation physical layouts and design calculations
Specify and select high-voltage equipment for substations
Coordinate with civil and structural engineers to integrate designs
into substation drawings
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or
equivalent
Professional Engineering License (PE) or on the path to obtain
PE
5+ years of experience in substation design
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and ETAP
