Litigation Attorney in Workers' Compensation Defense. Locations in Coral Gables, Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach. Associate will be responsible for representing the interests of employers and insurance carriers throughout the state of Florida in the handling of their workers' compensation claims. This position requires the use of independent judgment, research, litigation and analytical skills.



Qualified candidates must be willing to work in a team environment and exhibit interest in marketing to the workers' compensation client base. Candidate should embrace the use of technology as our office is 100% paperless. Knowledge of Florida Workers' Compensation statutes and its application is required.



This is a full-time position with hybrid remote/in-office schedule.

Job Requirements:

- Well versed in the use of technology.

- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.

- Customer or client-service experience.

- Excellent persuasive writing skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.

- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple and competing deadlines.

- Capable of marketing on behalf of the Firm.



Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

- JD degree from an accredited law school.

- Valid license to practice law in the state of Florida

- Experience in insurance defense is a plus but not required.
